Village Hall Update.

GOOD NEWS –OUR VILLAGE HALL Committe has been successful in securing our Grant Funding at the South Wiltshire Area Board , on the 13th October, to help with Insulating our building, to be carried out by The Warma Group, a well reputed Company in this area.  Therefore we have the go ahead for work to start as scheduled on the 27th October , November 2014.

Huge thank you for all the work done by our Chairman, Barry Pritchard, with the support of the loyal Committee!

Insulation of the Hall has been finished and the Hall is much improved and we now have a new heating system on a timer.

We now look forward to Warm and cosy evenings in our Hall..!!

We are very Proud of our Village Hall with it’s cosy, friendly, light atmosphere !  There is a small stage for bands, cabaret, etc.. and crockery, utensils and a lovely big kitchen if you wish to do the catering yourselves.


Our Premises Licence allow for the following activities provided they are carried out indoors:
Exhibition of films  
Indoor sporting events
Performance of live music
Playing recorded music
Performance of dance
Entertainment of a similar description to live music, recorded music or dance
Provision of facilities for making music
Provision of facilities for dancing
Provision of facilities of a similar description for making music and dancing
Late night refreshments
Sale of alcohol for consumption ON the premises, but not sale of alcohol for consumption OFF the premises.
We can go up to 100 standing and 65 seated There is a separate cloakroom area with toilet facilities for Gents, Ladies and Disabled.
Kitchen facilities include:  microwave, freezer, dishwasher, catering kettles, and an Electric Rangemaster cooker with 2 ovens, grill, warming drawer and ceramic hob with 6 burners. This will be extra to the normal Hiring Tariff.
