Grand Opening of the “West Grimstead to Whaddon” Footpath is on Tuesday 26th August 2014 at 12.30 pm.
The good news is that the long awaited Footpath to Whaddon is now complete!
To celebrate, we are holding a Grand Opening Ceremony Tuesday 26th August 2014. We will all meet on Crockford Green by the bench, and at 12.30pm our Unity Councillor Richard Britton will officially declare the path open!
This is a useful facility which will benefit the many walkers and joggers who risk life and limb on a particularly busy Grimstead Road.
However, please do not ride your horse, or your motorcycle along the path.
